The Southern California Association of Government's full Regional Council has voted unanimously to adopt the proposed RAMP Policy Framework we mobilized our members to push across the finish line!
This framework resets the SoCal Greeprint process and lays out a reworked, science-based approach that satisfies mitigation requirements without impeding housing and infrastructure development. It calls for a new vendor and the creation of a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) with balanced perspectives.
We're grateful to SCAG leadership and staff for their efforts on this important issue and their willingness to hear the business community's concerns over the past 18 months to get it right. We also want to thank the following BizFed members for stepping up alongside Senior Policy Manager Chris Wilson to amplify the voice of business with impactful testimony at yesterday's Regional Council meeting.
