Investing in Place and its partners will host an advocacy training summit called the Tripping Point: The Valley Edition on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9:30 am – 2pm at Panorama High School. The first Tripping Point was hosted this past Spring and was conceived by a coalition of advocacy groups to demonstrate the vast constituency in improving the City’s sidewalks. The summit is designed to teach Los Angeles residents how they can advocate for accessible, green, and safe sidewalks, crosswalks, and streets in their city.

10/27/17 MoveLA Transportation Conversation

Move LA will have its annual conference highlighting the accomplishments of the Metro Board, as they recently passed a motion seeking a super clean fleet by 2030 and Metro’s team is leading that charge forward while building big infrastructure projects that keep jobs in LA County for decades to come.  Metro’s Deputy CEO Stephanie Wiggins will be representing Metro at the Move LA Conference on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 8:30 am to 4pm at Conference Center at LA Cathedral. Metro keeps LA moving forward on the path to a brighter future and we can’t wait to hear how Measures R and M are delivering on Metro’s vision for the LA County transportation transformation.
