ACTION ALERT: Let the County Know You Want BizFed at the Table

Posted April 4th, 2019 | Status:

As many of you know, BizFed was at the forefront of the Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) since its conception. Part of the measure includes establishing eleven committees appointed by the LA County Board of Supervisors (LACBOS) to help oversee Measure W projects.

Earlier this year – BizFed asked our members to either volunteer or recommend qualified individuals to serve on one of the committees. As always, our members stepped up to the plate, and we were able to recommend an excellent group for the Supervisors to consider.

We need your help again!

The LACBOS is going to be deciding who will serve on these committees likely within the next two weeks. Please reach out to your contacts at the Supervisors offices and recommend our business representatives.

Special thanks to these BizFed members who either volunteered or helped us find qualified submissions:

Diana Coronado, Building Industry Association
Thomas Jelenic, Pacific Merchant Shipping Association (PMSA)
Matt Klink, Klink Campaigns
Maria Mehranian, Cordoba Corporation
John Musella, Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce
Amanda Parsons, Sentinel Peak Resources
Marci Stanage, Southern California Partnership for Jobs
Thomas Wong, Southern California Edison

Thank you for your help! Together we can make sure business remains at the table.

Warm regards,

Tracy Hernandez

Founding CEO, BizFed
