Community Relations and Government Affairs for Sentinel Peak Resources
Amanda Parsons is a public relations professional with over a decade of experience working in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She currently works in community relations and government affairs for Sentinel Peak Resources, the largest privately held oil producer in California.
Previously, Parsons served as Media Relations Manager for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and as Spokesperson for the Los Angeles International Airport. She was also Press Secretary for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Communications Director for Assemblymember Tony Mendoza.
Parsons holds a master’s degrees from Pepperdine University in both public policy and dispute resolution. She has visited over 35 countries, created and manages a nonprofit organization that assists the impoverished worldwide, and works as a part time professor of Public Relations at California State University Long Beach.
