Sarah Wiltfong has had a passion for politics and government since she was a child, having inherited it from her parents. Since as long as she can remember she stood side-by-side with them in voting booths, participated in endless discussions of current events around the dinner table, and volunteered with them for several political campaigns.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science at California State University, Long Beach (Go Beach!). Shortly after graduating she became the deputy campaign manager for one top targeted Assembly races in California. Since graduating, Sarah has served as a senior staffer for several targeted campaigns and served key members of the state legislature.
Prior to joining BizFed Sarah was the District Director for the 66th Assembly District, a Regional Field Representative for the Assembly Republican Caucus, and served as the president of one of the largest political clubs in the South Bay. In her free time Sarah can be seen enjoying a good cup of coffee from her favorite local coffee shop (Steelhead Coffee!), serving in her local church and being a part of her local Long Beach community. In addition, she also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for a foster child.
Sarah oversees BizFed’s AQMD/CARB Committee, Energy Committee, Health Committee, Small Business/Labor & Employment Committee, and Water Committee
