Scott Weaver is a Principal and Practice Leader for Ramboll US Consulting based in Los Angeles, California. Scott has over 25 years of experience with operations and client management for major US environmental consultancies. He serves as a strategic advisor and thought leader on complex environmental issues facing public and private sector clients with specialized expertise on the regulation of air quality and climate aspects.
Scott supports clients through the development of new regulations, due diligence for asset or portfolio transactions (esp. in the oil & gas or electric power sectors), and navigation of environmental permitting and compliance requirements affecting capital projects. He works across the western United States, with concentrated experience on matters involving the California Air Resources Board (CARB), the South Coast, San Joaquin Valley, and Bay Area air districts.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and is recognized as a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) by the Board for Global EHS Credentialing. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section, and on the Air & Waste Management Association’s (AWMA) Technical Coordinating Council.
