INFO/ACTION ALERT - BizFed SUPPORTS reintroduced bill (SB 44, Allen) to streamline the administrative and judicial review for Transit Leadership Projects.
BizFed previously supported SB 757 (Allen) last year which was vetoed by the Governor as it required the passage of SB 995 (Atkins) as a package.
On Monday March 15, the California Senate Environmental Quality Committee will hear and discuss SB 44 (Allen) at 9am.

The initial attempt to enact CEQA streamlining with SB 757 (Allen) was vetoed by the
Governor in the last legislative session as it required the passage of SB 995 (Atkins) as a
package. SB 44 (Allen) is a second attempt at enacting CEQA streamlining to limit the time for judicial review of transportation projects meeting certain criteria that was originally sought in the 2019-2020 Legislative Session with SB 757 (Allen).
