ACTION ALERT: Speak up for thousands of good-paying jobs!

Share This :

We're urging all BizFed members to step up and speak up for LA's entertainment industry and the countless livelihoods our world-class creative economy supports. We can't risk the flight of more production jobs to states with better tax credits, cheaper studio space, and more modern facilities. The industry was born here. Let's lean in to grow studio capacity and adjacent jobs so LA remains the creative capital of the world.

The proposed Television City 2050 plan (TVC 2050) will expand and streamline production capacity while preserving Historic Cultural Monument buildings, prioritizing sustainability, modernizing existing technology, and dramatically enhancing the pedestrian experience. The $1.25 billion project calls for 15 new modern sound stages, production offices, support facilities, and onsite retail. It's the most significant investment ever in Television City, one of LA's most iconic studios.

TVC 2050 will create an estimated 4,220 jobs during construction
and nearly 19,000 jobs during operations.

The city’s draft Environmental Impact Report found that TVC 2050 will result in no significant environmental impacts during studio operations. The project has earned the support of hundreds of community leaders, industry influencers, historic preservationists, and business organizations. BizFed is proud to support TVC 2050, alongside the Fairfax Business Association, Melrose Business Improvement District, LA Conservancy, Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building & Construction Trades Council, and others.
