Claudia Oliveira is President of the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council. In this capacity, she produces a yearly job fair in Skid Row with 400 attendees and forty vendors, bringing jobs of different skill levels to Los Angeles' housed and unhoused population.
Claudia Oliveira focuses primarily on shaping DTLA's micro-economy to support a balance between large and small businesses. She spearheaded the first Downtown Los Angeles Small Business Symposium, a full day of seminars and panels on becoming a city vendor, procurements, contracts, licensing, micro-loans, marketing, and safety.
In 2019, she testified on the Assembly Judiciary and helped pass Senator Maria Elena Durazo's "Inclusionary Act" which allows for immigrants, regardless of status, to serve on boards and committees.
Claudia Oliveira is an alumna of Coro Fellowship and Concordia LLC Roundtable, and a member of the Advisory Board for the Healthy Air Alliance.
