For the past two months, the South Coast Air Quality Management District has decided to postpone their vote on Indirect Source Rules (ISRs) at their March and April board meetings. However, we believe they will not delay any longer. The board will vote on whether or not to impose ISRs.
We cannot slowdown. ISRs impose a cap on warehouses, new/redevelopment construction and railyards and have the potential to limit investment in California’s transportation infrastructure, kill jobs, and hurt the competitiveness of California’s freight system.
We need you, and as many people that you can bring, to attend the hearing at the South Coast Air Quality Management District Friday, May 4th, to let the board know that we stand in unison against the implementation of these unnecessary regulations.
No public comment will be given on this item. We just need you to attend!
