Dear Friend,
Last month, the South Coast Air Quality Management District decided to postpone their vote on Indirect Source Rules (ISRs) to their April 6th board meeting. ISRs impose a cap on warehouses, new/redevelopment construction and railyards and have the potential to limit investment in California’s transportation infrastructure, kill jobs, and hurt the competitiveness of California’s freight system.
We need you, and as many people that you can bring, to attend the hearing at the South Coast Air Quality Management District on April 6th - where the SCAQMD Board will AGAIN consider the eventual adoption of Indirect Source Rules.
There will not be any public comment for this agenda item at this meeting. Therefore, we must visually show the AQMD Board that there is a strong constituency that still opposes these measures and we stand together against such regulations.
AQMD MEETING DETAILS:
WHAT: AQMD Board Meeting
WHEN: Friday, April 6th, 9 a.m.
WHERE: SCAQMD Headquarters (Auditorium), 21865 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, CA 91765
ATTIRE: The rally attire color for the business community BLUE.
