ACTION ALERT – Congress in final negotiations of latest stimulus package – Act Now!

Congress is in their final stages of negotiations for the latest stimulus package and is expected to vote as early as next MONDAY on a deal. The House's HEROES Act and the Senate's HEALS Act both contain vital key provisions that BizFed and the business community have been actively advocating on. It is important you act now to make sure these provisions are included! We ask that you let Congress know you support the following:

1. SUPPORT the House HEROES Act inclusion of ALL 501(c)’s into the PPP program and OPPOSE the Senate HEALS Act inclusion of only limited 501(c)6’s.
2. SUPPORT the Senate HEALS Act inclusion of business liability protections against COVID-19 related exposures.

Expanding the PPP programs to all 501(c)'s and adding protections for businesses against COVID-19 exposure liabilities will greatly protect community organizations from closing for good and businesses from facing additional uncertainties.
