ACTION ALERT: Speak Out on New CEQA Regulations

The Governor’s Office of Planning and Research has proposed regulations to expand the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) to put California on a “road diet” – endorsing ongoing traffic congestion as this administration’s transportation legacy.  As you can see in detail in our draft comment letter, their proposed regulations would have numerous significant negative impacts on our region’s ability to deliver the transportation and transit-oriented infrastructure necessary to ensure a successful economy and quality of life. Comments are due to the Office of Planning and Research by close of business THIS Monday.  Can we please include your logo in our business coalition comment letter?
    1. Click here to download the draft of the letter.  (Note that we might make a few non-substantive changes over weekend.)
  1. Reply to this note with a jpeg of your logo attached if you want us to add it.  (If you see your logo already on the draft, please reply to confirm that we can keep it on the letter.)
Many thanks to Jennifer Hernandez, Holland & Knight, who is among California’s top CEQA experts, for her work developing these detailed comments!
