What: SCAG Regional Council will be taking action on whether to keep the "pause" on the SoCal Greenprint process. We need to continue to remind SCAG of our strong concerns on the Greenprint and keep the foot on the gas.
Background:
Back in August, BizFed was part of a 19-member coalition of Southern California business, industry and labor organizations who joined together to express strong concerns to SCAG regarding their proposed Greenprint project. Our mobilization was successful and took two forms. First, we sent a Southern California Business Coalition letter to SCAG, which detailed specific concerns and recommendations regarding Greenprint (a copy of our August 24th letter can be accessed using the following Dropbox link HERE). Second, several members of our Coalition mobilized and spoke during the SCAG public hearing on this topic, held on August 24th. Today, SCAG’s Regional Council will consider taking action on whether to continue pausing the Greenprint formulation process.
