INFO ALERT: 9 BizFed leaders nominated for LA Times awards

Posted October 14th, 2022 | Status:

We’re inspired daily by powerhouse leaders within the BizFed family. It’s our privilege to share their wisdom, passion, and diverse perspectives with the broad business community – and far beyond. We’re proud that leaders within the media community have taken notice.

Nine women representing BizFed and six BizFed members have been selected as shortlisted nominees for the Los Angeles Times’ 2022 Inspirational Women Awards.

Please join us in congratulating Jill Anderson, Verna Grayce Chao, Lindsay Dunn, Wendy Estrada, Sharon Evans, Catherine Reheis-Boyd, Maria Salinas, and Demi Weitz. I’m humbled to share this honor with them, and grateful to my team for nominating me.

AWARDS CEREMONY

The second annual Inspirational Women Forum & Awards Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 18th at the Beverly Hilton to recognize the BizFed leaders above and other business trailblazers who have “demonstrated noteworthy success and accomplishments” during the last 24 months.

We invite you to join us! Coming together to celebrate role models is uniquely uplifting and unifying. The awards luncheon, ceremony, and pre-lunch networking will begin at 11:30 a.m. The presentation of awards is scheduled to end at 2:30 p.m.

In late November, the LA Times B2B team will publish a magazine spotlighting the event and featuring profiles of all nominees. I can’t wait to read more about Jill, Verna, Lindsay, Wendy, Sharon, Catherine, Maria, and Demi’s achievements – and share with all of you.

Congratulations to all nominees – and thank you for setting an example of excellence!
