Share This :

Ready for a breakdown of legislative action now that Friday's house-of-origin deadline has passed – along with a flurry of bills?

  • Here's the good news first...
BizFed logged a 56% victory rate. Legislators took action on 43 bills that BizFed either supported or opposed. Legislative action aligned with BizFed's requested action on 24 of these 43 bills.

  • Here's the great news next...
We've quickly built upon earlier efforts so we can supercharge our advocacy machine for the next phase of this legislative session. 28 bills either supported or opposed by BizFed remain in play and require ongoing action from the business community.

  • Here are some key victories...
Bills that expand funding for seismic retrofitting (AB 1505), streamline housing production on church property (SB 4), and strengthen California's supply chain workforce (AB 376) all made it off the floor and are headed to the next house. BizFed sent strike force teams to Sacramento to advocate in person for these bills (and other high-priority proposals) ahead of June 2.

Read on for a full breakdown of where things stand on the 43 BizFed bills that legislators took action on. BizFed-supported bills are highlighted below in green. BizFed-opposed bills are highlighted in red.
