Dear BizFed members,
On this March's Los Angeles City ballot is a
nefarious measure aimed at putting a hault to all development in the City of Los Angeles. Measure S (Neighborhood Integrity Initiative) will cripple housing development during a time when housing across the state is at crisis levels! We cannot allow this measure to pass and prevent Los Angeles from its dire need to house all of its residents.
BizFed is working with the No on Measure S campaign,
Goes Too Far to defeat Measure S. There are myriad ways to take action now and protect the necessary development Los Angeles needs.
Here is how you can get involved and ensure L.A. gets the housing it needs:
1. Visit the
resources page of the
Goes Too Far Campaign, and use any and all of the graphics for your own website, use the sample e-mails to send out messages to your membership, and send around the social graphic and window sign to your membership to use.
2. Send around the
volunteer opportunities for phone banking and walking that were scheduled in coordination with the
LA County Federation of Labor. The Outreach Coordinator Andrew can answer any questions and direct you to the right folks.

3. Sign up with Andrew to join the
Message Wave email plan, where we have 4 scheduled emails that the whole coalition will be sending out on the same day at the same time to help increase the campaign’s reach and create “No on S message waves”. Sign up with Andrew to find out the dates and commit to the program.

Next, please share these 4 articles within your respective networks to better inform about the negative effects this measure will have on L.A. and its residents:
Additionally, folks ask how to get involved, there is a public
Take Action page on the website that has a sign up, window sign, same email and social graphics people can use. They can also register to vote.
Lastly, just like all campaigns, this one needs your financial support! Please
