Our next in-person Leadership Roundtable made possible by sponsorship from the Port of Long Beach is happening Thursday, July 31st in downtown Los Angeles with California State Senator María Elena Durazo who represents Senate District 26 which includes Central Los Angeles, Northeast Los Angeles, East Los Angeles and Vernon.
Senator Durazo brings a lifetime of experience advocating for working families, immigrant communities, and labor rights. Born to migrant farmworkers, she rose through the labor movement as an organizer and national leader, breaking barriers as the first woman to serve as Secretary-Treasurer of the LA County Federation of Labor and later as Executive VP of UNITE-HERE International.
She has served on key civic commissions, helped lead national political campaigns, and continues to champion equity, dignity, and opportunity through her legislative work in the California State Senate.
This is a rare opportunity to engage directly with one of California’s most respected labor and policy leaders in an intimate setting.
SPACE IS LIMITED
Please know that RSVPs are limited, so if you would like to join this intimate gathering — we strongly encourage you to respond at your earliest convenience. Event location in downtown Los Angeles will be privately confirmed via email upon confirmation of registration.
