(September 1, 2025 – Los Angeles) The Los Angeles County Business Federation (BizFed) has promoted Mitchell Vieyra to Executive Vice President, it was announced today.

Vieyra joined BizFed in 2017 as a member of the Membership and Development Team before quickly advancing to lead strategic government affairs initiatives in partnership with chambers of commerce and trade association members. Over the years, he has contributed across the organization — including three years serving as Senior Program Director of BizFed Institute, BizFed’s 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm.

Most recently, Vieyra served in the capacity of Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives & BizFed PAC Director. He is credited with spearheading bold campaigns, strengthening strategic relationships, expanding the organization’s influence across the region, and serving as the right hand to organization’s CEO and President. Vieyra’s promotion fully recognizes his longtime pivotal role in driving the organization’s mission forward through his leadership of the BizFed Advocacy Team, Events Team, and BizFed PAC.

Prior to joining BizFed, Vieyra served as a registered lobbyist with the Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Los Angeles (BOMA/GLA), where he ran the BOMA/GLA PAC, and gained additional political experience working on local campaigns in Orange County.

“Mitchell is a force multiplier for BizFed,” said BizFed President, David Englin. “He brings sharp strategic insight, trusted relationships and a results-driven approach that delivers real wins for our members and the communities we serve.”

“Mitchell’s vision, dedication and collaborative spirit have elevated BizFed time and again,” said BizFed Founding CEO, Tracy Hernandez. “This promotion formalizes what we already know — his leadership makes us stronger.”

Under his new title, Vieyra will continue to oversee the BizFed Advocacy Team, Events Team and continue in his role as BizFed PAC Director.
