Today, the State accepted LA County’s variance request and allowed the county to open barber shops, hair salons and in-person dining.

This comes days after LA County agreed to fully align with state orders and open faith-based services (25% capacity or 100 ppl), all retail (50% capacity), flea markets, swap meets, drive-in theaters, pools/saunas in residences, in person protests (25% capacity or 100 ppl), and office spaces.

Other high risk areas such as bars, nightclubs, gyms and others are to still remain closed.

Below is the latest press release from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, which contains details behind the new orders and updated guidelines.
