ACTION ALERT: Weigh-in On LA County’s Wage Enforcement Ordinance

Join us for an important call to discuss what feedback we want to give Supervisor Solis' staff on the draft Wage Enforcement Ordinance to ensure a fair and appropriate outcome that will fully protect workers from true wage theft while also ensuring safeguards to protect employers from abuse of the proposed ordinance.

LA County is currently in the process of drafting an ordinance on wage enforcement to complement the minimum wage ordinance approved by the Board of Supervisors. Solis’ office is asking stakeholders to provide comments no later than 3/16, so that they will have time to make any necessary changes. Their goal is to bring it to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on 4/5.
