Governor Gavin Newsom signed 10 bills into law this morning addressing retail theft, discouraging resale of stolen goods, and providing new tools for prosecutors. This landmark legislation is the result of months of coordinated advocacy led by statewide business, labor, civic, and law enforcement partners.
