While BizFed has not taken a position on the size of the DWP rate increase itself, the BizFed Board voted to support four key solutions outlined in the op-ed linked below. BizFed is therefore opposed to any additional money from rate payers getting allocated to the City’s General Fund. BizFed is also closely following the LA City Hall motion led by Councilmember Fuentes calling for governance restructuring at DWP that aligns very closely with the Beutner/Kantor proposal.
