California is mandated by Executive Order to meet a 25% small business goal. Currently, California State Departments have trouble meeting their small business goals with more than $92.54 billion in infrastructure projects in development. The BizFed board voted tosupport updating California’s Small Business Size Standard and support amending section 14837 of the government code relating to public contracts with accelerated payments and reciprocity in the definition of a small business.
