As many of you know, BizFed was at the forefront of the Safe Clean Water Program (Measure W) since its conception. We were integral into making sure that business was properly represented and key elements were placed into the program including a credit trading program, a regional oversight committee, potential tax reduction after 30 years, a cap at $300 million per year and others.
The County has just released its FINAL implementation ordinance to be adopted at the Tuesday, July 30th Board of Supervisors meeting. The ordinance also contains the final names for the watershed, regional oversight and scoring committees.
The final implementation ordinance can be viewed by clicking here.
BizFed comments for the draft ordinance released in June can be viewed by clicking here.
Congratulations to our members who were chosen to sit on either one of the Watershed Area Steering Committees, Regional Oversight Committee, or Scoring Committee. We know you will represent our members well!
